Background & Challenges
The customer is one of the largest multinational utilities companies with presence in the US and the UK. It delivers electricity, natural gas, and clean energy to more than 20 million people through its networks in New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. It is the largest distributor of natural gas in the Northeast and also deliver gas and electricity across Great Britain.
One of the world’s largest utilities companies with presence in the US and UK was looking to move its offshore users to the Cloud. The company delivers clean energy to promote the development and implementation of sustainable, innovative and affordable energy solutions.
The Utility company was facing challenges as its offshore users were not able to connect to Cloud desktops, resulting in performance issues, profile corruption and data loss. The internal IT team was struggling to install business applications on Cloud and were ready to decommission the Cloud technology.
What Anunta Did
Anunta helped the company resolve Cloud onboarding issues by quickly identifying critical areas. An in-depth root cause analysis helped to execute permanent solutions to the issues. Anunta helped successfully migrate the tenants to the Cloud and perform end to end monitoring for superior end-user experience.
This resulted in company moving 800+ users to the Cloud. Eventually, the company decided on migrating all of its users from on-premises environment to Cloud.
I just wanted to express my appreciation for the support which Anunta have provided for our offshore team in getting their VM image issues sorted out.
I feel that the Anunta team have provided excellent support, going above and beyond my expectations, which has been a huge help in progressing Project One (our flagship project). In particular I have been impressed with their responsiveness and with their chasing of PWC for information.
