Anunta completely transforms the existing traditional infrastructure of a national cooperative bank by undertaking end-to-end modern desktop management.

Background & Challenges

The client is a national scheduled bank with the goals to encourage saving, help the less fortunate communities, and to help raise funding for the underprivileged. They have 198 branches across 11 states.

The client relied on traditional IT infrastructure with physical desktops and on-prem servers. In the age of digital banking, this proved to be a massive limitation and restricted their service delivery and customer experience.

Asset Management: With no centralized process or platform, software and application updates were done manually device to device, which meant that the process was highly user dependent.

Data Security and Compliance: Customer needed an iron-clad means to protect privileged client information and to stay compliant with the strict industry regulations.

Workforce Flexibility: To keep up with the evolving customer expectations, the customer wanted to set up remote working while ensuring a consistent user experience across devices.

Cost and Resource Management: The customer needed a solution to manage the large number of devices and applications without compromising on security.

Employee Onboarding: With the traditional architecture, employee onboarding was time consuming, and they were eager for a more seamless approach.

To help them establish sure footing in the age of new age banking, Anunta undertook an end-to-end modern desktop management project for the client leveraging Workspace ONE, a comprehensive digital workspace platform from VMware.

What Anunta Did

Anunta executed an end-to-end modern desktop management project for the customer, completely transforming their existing traditional infrastructure by leveraging Workspace ONE from VMware. All 1200 corporate devices were registered on Workspace ONE, making asset management a centralized process.

With Workspace ONE, Anunta was able to simplify the management and deployment of all the customer’s devices, thereby streamlining IT operations.

The inbuilt Per App Tunnel networking and security feature ensured secure role-based privileged access for individual applications, thereby enhancing data security. This also enabled secure remote working.

The platform provided the customer with complete visibility of all devices and applications as well as transparent reporting on asset management and regulatory compliance. Anunta provided the customer with post-migration support by taking charge of all asset management and reporting.
